Margie Mullen, CFP

Margie Mullen, CFP, has been in the financial services industry since 1971. Prior to becoming a financial advisor, she was a lending officer with a major international bank, as a well regarded member of her profession. Ms. Mullen has received many accolades and awards during the past 22 years, including being named by Worth Magazine as one of the top financial advisors in the U.S.

Since 1986, when she obtained her Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation, she has used her experience and expertise to provide financial planning and wealth management to primarily higher income/net worth clients.

Ms. Mullen is very active in the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (an organization of fee-only planners) where she has served as West Region's President and two additional years on the board. Her leadership activity continued as Chair of the NAPFA (National Association of Personal Financial Planners) National Conference in Nashville, Tennessee. Locally, she is a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA) and a former board member of the Los Angeles Chapter.

Ms. Mullen has been used as a resource over the years by many publications including The Wall Street Journal, U.S. News and World Report, Money Magazine, Good Housekeeping and The Los Angeles Times. She has participated in the L.A. Times Money Makeovers, as well as having been a speaker at their annual Investment Strategy Conferences.

A native of Los Angeles, she earned her B.A. degree from California State University at Los Angeles. She is the parent of a teenager, very active in her church and a diehard Dodgers fan.
